Terms and Conditions

Delivery

We offer free next working day delivery by 5.30pm - Monday to Friday - on all Straighteners & Hairdryers for UK mainland orders placed by 2pm. Goods are despatched Monday to Friday. Orders received after 2pm will be despatched next working day and orders received after 2pm Friday will be despatched on Monday. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday.

If you require a Saturday delivery or a morning delivery please select this at checkout as there is an additional charge for this. Deliveries to Channel Islands, IOM and Northern Ireland incur a charge. For UK orders of other items we despatch by Royal Mail first class recorded post for items under £30 and special delivery for items over £30. If there is a stock shortage or delay with your order we will inform you immediately.

For overseas orders shipping times will vary as these depend on the postal service of the recipient country. We use Royal Mail's International signed for or International Airsure service. Any customs charges levied once your parcel reaches the destination country will be the responsibility of the customer. We have no control over these charges and so unfortunately cannot predict what they will be.

For goods sent by Royal Mail If you fail to receive your goods within 7 days from date of purchase please contact us. No claims for missing goods can be accepted after a reasonable amount of time which we consider to be 30 days after the purchase date.

Most consignments will require a signature on delivery so if possible please give a delivery address where the item can be signed for during working hours. Once we receive your online order, we send 2 emails. The first confirms the order and the 2nd gives exact delivery details & gives you the option to give an alternate delivery address, such as a work address. A business address MUST also contain the Company name as well as the address in order for the carrier company to delivery successfully.

Please note that it is the customer's responsibilty to supply correct address and post code details. Incorrect details will result in delivery delays and additional shipping costs.

Postage and Packing

For UK orders of T3 and Hairart electrical products we offer a next working day delivery service for orders placed before 2pm and a 2 day delivery service for all orders placed after 2pm. Goods are despatched Monday to Friday so orders placed after 2pm on Friday will be depatched Monday.

All T3 and Hairart electrical products are sent by carrier. A signature is required upon receipt so it is important that you notify us of an address (which may be a work address) where someone will be available to sign for it. The carrier should leave a card if no one is in and delivery will be reattempted on the following working day. Goods are then kept at the depot for 3 working days where you can collect them.

Goods not collected are returned to us at a cost of £10.00. Redirection of goods once they have been dispatched also incurs a charge of £10.00. A 3rd delivery attempt is charged at £10.00. Additional payment must be received before goods can be redelivered or redirected.

In certain circumstances we may opt to send the goods by Royal Mail Special Delivery.

Non electrical items are generally delivered by 1st class post or Royal Mail Recorded Delivery.

Postage and Packing Costs

For any order containing a T3 or Hairart thinkstraight electrical item such as a straightener or hairdryer, delivery is free to mainland UK. Shipping costs for overseas orders are shown on the checkout page.

Payment

We accept most major credit and debit cards Visa, Visa Electron, Visa Debit, MasterCard, Switch, Delta, Solo, and Maestro. We do NOT accept American Express. We use a secure card processing service protx and do not store or have access to customer credit card details.

Other Ways to Order

To order by phone please contact us between 8am and 8pm. Outside of these times you may leave a message with your contact telephone number or email address details on our 24 hour order line +44 (0) 1477 544422.

We also accept cheques made payable to T3 Hair Ltd and postal orders. Please add your name and address to the rear of the cheque and postal order. Please ensure any postal orders are crossed and made payable to T3 hair Ltd. These should be posted to:

Returns and Cancellations

PLEASE CONTACT US in the first instance to obtain a returns reference number if you would like to cancel your order or return an item for any reason. UNAUTHORISED RETURNS WILL BE REFUSED. Any returns for whatever reason need to be returned to us within 7 (SEVEN) days starting the day after delivery. Your returned package will need to contain detai;s of your name and order number. The product must be unopened, unused and in a saleable condition complete with original packing and any free gifts, which also need to be unused and in a saleable condition. If free gifts have been opened or used we will apply a charge for these at the full selling price detailed on our web site. After inspection of the products a refund of the purchase price minus a restocking charge of £10.00 will be authorised. Postage costs for the returned item must be met by the customer.

Claims for goods lost or damaged in transit are the responsibility of the sender. Since we cannot be held responsible for goods returned to us by customers that become lost in transit, we strongly recommend that you send goods back to us using a proof of posting certificate for goods under £30, recorded post for goods under £30 where you wish to have proof of delivery or special delivery for all goods over £30.00.

If an electrical item is faulty it can be repaired/replaced under warranty conditions and after inspection of the returned item. Faulty T3 & HairArt thinkstraight electrical items should be returned to SDL Hair Ltd as detailed on the warranty advice list included with the product. Please complete warranty within 21 days of purchase. A freepost envelope for items returned for repair can be sent to customers that purchased from this web site. Please supply us with an original order reference for the freepost envelope. However we still strongly recommend that you insure returned goods during transit as detailed in the previous paragraph. All repairs are carried out at SDL Hair Ltd's head office. SDL Hair Ltd remain responsible for all repairs as the are T3's and Hairart thinkstraight's UK & European main distributor.

In certain circumstances T3 may consider exchange of goods. If you wish to exchange an item for a different item, please contact us first by telephone or email. The item to be exchanged must be unopened & unused. Exchanges may only be made within 7 days from receipt of goods. Postage back to us should be by recorded / special delivery and postage costs for the new item must be met by the customer.

Damages

Refunds/ replacement of damaged goods can only be given if we are notified by email within 48 hrs of receipt. We therefore strongly advise you to inspect items immediately. Missing items from your order must also be notified within 48hrs of receipt of the delivery.

Please contact us first as unauthorised returns are always refused. Damaged goods should be returned to us before a replacement can be sent. On delivery, always refuse damaged or incomplete packages.

Details of warranties for electrical items are contained within the box the item is packed in. Please read and keep in a safe place. Please also keep a record of your receipt which you will need to produce should you need to have a repair under warranty.The warranty will need to be completed within 21 days of purchase. Thinkstraight straighteners have a 12 month warranty, T3s have a 24 month warranty when purchased from this authorised web site.

Repairs under warranty for overseas orders- postage costs must be met by the customer when returning T3s to the UK and also the cost of shipping the T3 back to an address outside of the UK.

We have taken as much care as possible to describe and portray items accurately. Slight variations in actual goods may occur. We reserve the right to inform the customer of any incorrect information or out of stock situation within 24hours of placing the order.
